RED’S PIZZERIA & TAPHOUSE

We are looking for a sous-chef in our kitchen. We are a successful, high-volume restaurant, and are looking for a second sous-chef to join us. Experience with artisan/woodfired style pizza making is a plus, You can expect to work with and learn from some of the finest pizzaiolos in the greater Sacramento area. Join our team, and help us developing RED’S to new heights

Tasks:
• Manage the kitchen when the head chef is not present
• Cooking on our world-class wood fired pizza oven imported from ITALY
• Organizing trainings and developing the team

Profile:
• Team Player
• Great attitude, meaning no attitude
• Leadership experience
• Passion for sharing expertise, and teaching others
• Training as a chef - either through school or through training programs
• Experience from quality restaurants. Pizza experience is a big plus - passion and willingness to learn a must
• Like to work fast, under high pressure
• Passion for artisan produce
• English (able to communicate effectively).
