Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Seafood Sous Chef And Bar Manager- to join our team You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Bar Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the business aspects of the bar, such as liquor licenses, supplier contracts, inventory, and budgets.
- Hiring and training staff.
- Creating drink and food menus.
- Ensuring the bar is well-stocked and clean.
- Tracking customer behavior and sales.
- Maintaining budget and monitoring costs.
- Handling customer complaints.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Bar manager:
- Proven work experience as a Bar Manager, Pub Manager, or similar role (Minimum 2 years)
- Good knowledge of liquor, and beer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to handle difficult customers
- Ability to manage and lead a team
