Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to become an integral part of our team You will perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Indoor Air Quality Investigations
  • Assist in maintenance of hazardous waste profiling and storage
  • Assist in relocation and preservation of birds, bees, small animals etc. that may impact production of construction project.
  • Maintain all SDS for subcontractors and obtain approval from client for products.
  • Assist in engineering controls for airborne contaminants and ensurance of proper PPE
  • Perform air monitoring for suspect products.
  • Perform noise monitoring
  • Manage recycling program and maintain project requirements
  • Perform waste water and waste profiling analysis
  • Maintain weed control with contact of subcontractors to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate clean up of spills or contaminants that may occur throughout course of project.
  • Coordinate update meetings with client and training materials for other Safety Professionals.
  • Maintain supportive team working environment with Safety Department
  • Maintain and calibrate lab monitoring equipment
  • Assist lead engineers with various projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in environmental engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with pollution control technology
  • Excellent root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Pay dependant upon experience
  • Be able to work 50 hour work weeks
