Job DescriptionJob Description

Maronick Law is currently looking to hire an Intake Attorney to work remotely. This position primarily speaks with potential clients helping to answer initial questions and then retaining the client.

A NORMAL DAY:
Answer incoming calls from prospective new clients
Conduct a short consultation regarding their matter
Quote a flat fee cost for representation
Answer basic questions about the case
Commit the new client to retain the firm
Process the down payment to retain
Provide summary of call inside Google chat

MUST HAVES:
Active Maryland law license
Ability to work remotely
Litigation experience

NICE TO HAVES:
Criminal Defense experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleague
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff
