Cycle Instructor

 

The Preserve is a uniquely designed facility where we specialize in creating personalized experiences for our members. Our priority is to exceed our members even unspoken expectations while they invest time in pursuit of their health and fitness goals. We do this from employing a team of fitness professionals that anticipates the needs of members, empowering them to with resources to meet them and facilitating great communication within the team to identify ways we can continue to reinforce our position as the premier fitness destination in Houston. We’d like to believe if you were to build your own fitness facility, this would be it. 

We are seeking an Indoor Cycling Instructor to join our team The ideal candidate possess experience creating and leading fun and fast paced rides in a gym or studio environment and thrives in a fast paced environment. Candidates must embody health and fitness lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

  • Create safe and effective ride profiles choreographed to music
  • Demonstrate proper form and technique
  • Accurately explain resistance, cadence and watts
  • Lead energetic classes while creating a welcoming environment for members
  • Follow club and program guidelines.
  • Greet and welcome members to class and explain proper set up of bike
  • Follow up with members via club

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a cycling instructor
  • Ability to teach on beat
  • Ability to train at all fitness levels
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Group Fitness Instructor or Cycling Instructor certification
  • CPR AED certification
