The Metal Fabrication Operator will cut, shape, and weld metal using hand tools and equipment such as band saws, material brakes, and material shears. Provide fabrication support for Shop Services team.
Responsibilities:
• Fabricates brackets and other components and weld exhaust tubes and bosses.
• Operate band saws, material brakes, and material shears.
• Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, and engineer drawings to shape metal according to customer specifications.
Education /Experience (required):
• High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of fabrication work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of TIG or MIG welding experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating power brakes, and shears
