Job DescriptionJob Description

Loader/Unloaders are responsible for the logistics of loading and unloading Haulotte Aerial Work Platform machines to/from trailers and shipping containers based on the shipping schedule.

Essential Functions  

  • Follow the shipping schedule to prioritize daily objectives
  • Orchestrate the flow of trucks through the staging areas and shipping docks
  • Perform visual inspection of machines prior to unloading & document any damages
  • Check-in truck drivers upon arrival, process paperwork as needed
  • Safely load/unload machines from trucks, containers, and trailers
  • Manage machine movements throughout the facility
  • Advanced operation of scissor lifts and boom lifts, demonstrate safety at all times.

Job Responsibilities

  • Stage trucks to ensure smooth flow through shipping & receiving areas.
  • Validate machines are “ok to ship” and serial numbers of match shipping documents prior to shipping
  • Load/unload machinery onto flatbed trailers and shipping containers
  • Process shipping/receiving documents for each shipment, take photos of all machines
  • Pressure wash machines as needed prior to shipment
  • Proactively stage machines inside the facility according to priority & shipment
  • Perform inventory management activities of machines including organization of machines, general daily maintenance, and battery charging as required
  • Perform machine inspection (SMI/PDI) activities as needed
  • Other duties based on the needs of the company

Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Forklift Operator
  • Operation of aerial work platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts)
  • Loading trucks and/or shipping containers
