OBJECTIVE

The Supplier Development and Compliance Analyst (SDCA) is an essential and pivotal member of PPI's Supplier Management and Analysis Department. The core duties for this position involve supporting the Due Diligence (DD) process for PPI and PPI’s prime client suppliers, providing support to SMAD with the planning and execution of Commercial Conditions Compliance Audits. The SDCA also engages in activities related to informing current and potential suppliers about becoming PPI’s prime client suppliers, establishing strong relationships with suppliers by familiarizing them with the PPI’s prime client contracting procedures, and assisting their inclusion in the approved internal software. Additionally, this position will support the team in researching, coordinating, and participating in industry events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

· Coordinate and attend meetings with suppliers.

· Present orientation regarding the PPI’s prime client’s operations, with a focus on the procurement process and Supplier Registration Process Information.

· Actively participate in information meetings, technical sessions, and engagement with potential suppliers during industry events, particularly for international suppliers.

· Support in the Supplier Registration Process, assisting suppliers with specific registration requirements while also offering support.

· Independently elaborate and assist in the preparation of due diligence (DD) questionnaires for suppliers, maintaining the database and associated information in strict compliance with policies.

· Independently produce and gather information and brochures intended for suppliers and industry stakeholders.

· Offer valuable support to the Supplier Relations Department within PPI’s prime client’s needs; including addressing requests related to international suppliers.

· Support in the coordination of events with suppliers, including organizing visits to suppliers' facilities when necessary.

· Provide essential support in the execution of periodic commercial conditions Audits Program conducted by external auditors to verify supplier compliance with the best price warranty defined in Framework Agreements, as administered by the Supplier Alliances Contract Administrators.

· Maintain proactive communication with the Supplier Relations area in Mexico, actively providing feedback regarding activities related to the support request for the registration of international suppliers.

· Independently review and address requests from the Supplier Relations area in Mexico related to supplier registration and compliance.

· Propose international versions in English of the forms required for supplier registration.

· Collaborate closely with the Supplier Relations Department of PPI’s prime client for the seamless implementation of international forms and continuous improvements in the registration of international suppliers.

· If necessary, actively participate in the projects for market research execution in collaboration with the Supplier Management and Analysis Coordinator.

· Exhibit flexibility and readiness to undertake a variety of other tasks as assigned by the Supplier Development and Compliance Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS

Education Level:

· A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related industry

 

Years of Experience:

· Three years of experience in the petroleum or petrochemical industry, with a specific focus on Supplier Development, Supplier Evaluations and Qualifications, and Event Organization, is preferred but not required.

 

Travel Requirements: 5% of the time to attend industry events, or as required.

 

Language: Bilingual fluency both spoken and written in English and Spanish is required

 

Special Requirements:

· Ability to verbally communicate, read, analyze, and interpret general business information services, professional journals, technical processes, and systems as well as governmental regulations and technical standards.

· Ability to create market reports and professional business correspondence.

· Effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of clients, including internal customers and the public.

· Must be highly organized and disciplined in performing these services in a timely manner.

· Ability to utilize online information services.

· Knowledge of Product Codification systems (FSC, SIC).

· Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, proficient with Excel reports that may include pivot tables, short macros, exchange of information between excel and word, and proficiency in the elaboration of effective Power Point Presentations.

· Math & Statistics Skills – Ability to understand and generate mathematical, statistical, administrative, and financial concepts and use them in practical applications.

· Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interact and verbally communicate with stakeholders of various levels.
