Exciting Direct Hire Opportunity

Our Client, an Engineering Company in the Lafayette, LA Area, is in search of a CAD Technician/Mapper for a direct hire role.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced computer-aided drafting systems to create and edit alignment sheets, plats, plan and profile drawings, and permit drawings using supplied surveyors data.
  • Topo Map Deliverables
  • Assemble delivery packages as specified by the client or project manager.
  • Review all finished deliverables with the Project Manager and Survey & Mapping Manager for Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Revise drawings as specified via marked-up drawings.

Requirements:

  • Computer Aided Drafting Certification from a Technical Center
  • Minimum 5 years of drafting experience
  • At least 2 years in AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
  • Experience with BlueSky or Skyline a plus, but not mandatory.
