Job Overview:

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for working with Regional Project Manager on assigned projects within their designated geographical area. This includes the coordination and purchasing of all materials, equipment, travel arrangements required within assigned regional territories. This role is also responsible for managing all PO creation and sub-contractor coordination required within assigned projects.

Directly Reports To: Regional Project Manager

• Responsible for managing and coordinating within sub-contractors within Sheer Enterprises sub-contractor agreement parameters.

• Occasionally the Purchasing Manager may be required to travel to pick up materials for upcoming projects.

• Responsible for working with operations team in ordering materials, verifying materials coordinating day to day schedule within timeline expectations.

• Responsible for project planning as it relates to material pick up and/or delivery, sub coordination, scope of work instructions and tool/equipment requirements to complete the scope of work of a project for crew members and sub-contractors

• Collect and verify all onboarding paperwork for sub-contractor and/or vendors are accurate in the system and/or obtain needed documents within vendor profile prior to completion of project. Including updated COI, MSA and W9.

• Verify all vendor and subcontractor invoices are accurate and approve for payment prior to sending to QCReview for project billing.

• Responsible for purchasing and communicating all required travel arrangements for in house employees relating to assigned projects

• Responsible for all PO creation and invoice verification for approved payments for assigned projects.

• Additional tasks assignments from Regional Project Managers and/or Sr. Project Manager as required

• Responsible for tracking and managing all assets within regional parameters including vehicles and tools and equipment

• Responsible for managing Home Depot account and verification of purchases within Home Depot account with a monthly reconciliation of all purchases made on account within assigned projects.

• Responsible for monthly inventory management of all stock materials with verification of minimum stock materials within regional warehouses

Required Meetings:

· Weekly Purchasing Meeting with Regional Project Manager

· Weekly Scheduling Meeting

Reporting Required

· Monthly Stock Material Audit

· Home Depot Monthly Audits

· Monthly Vehicle Maintenance Reports

· Tool Ownership Report due the 1st of every month

 

Candidate Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of purchasing experience.

o Direct experience in restaurant and/or retail construction or facility maintenance is highly desirable

· Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction drawings, work orders and survey notes.

· Excellent technical skills, including using computers, the Internet and file sharing required.

· Strong personal management skills, dedication and organization required.
