Primary Responsibilities:

  • Driver will be operating a Flatbed and Pickup Truck- F250, both under 26,001 GVWR and all are automatic.
  • Need to be able to operate a Standard forklift.
  • Need to understand that this is a very physically demanding position.
  • Driver will be expected to help out in the in the branch when not driving, helping out in the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, putting away product, helping with the maintenance/cleanliness of the branch and truck, etc.
  • Driving 70% of day.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  • Will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks at the branch and at the customer’s jobsite.
  • Adhere to the safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR)
  • Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards (e.g., neat, clean, and properly attired)
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and perform all duties in a safe manner.
  • Load and unloaded cargo make sure safety equipment is being utilized.
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.
  • Report any incidents to the dispatcher.
  • Follow/adhere to all traffic laws.
  • Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift 50-65 pounds consistently will be expected to help out at the branch when not driving, with duties listed above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable state driving rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of GPS navigation technology.
  • Knowledge of the delivery area and alternate routes
  • Experience with route delivery/driving
  • Must be able to operate a standard sit-down forklift.
  • Must Be DOT Certified.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required to have a Driver's License
  • 1 Year of Delivery Driving experience NON CDL or CDL required
  • Minimum age requirement is 21 years old.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stand, climb up into truck and walk.

Schedule:

  • Starting Pay - $20.00/Hour
  • 1st Shift 7:30AM-4:30PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • No WEEKENDS
  • Paid Weekly
  • Averages 40-45 Hours Week
