Licensed Counselor

Therapist must hold a current license by the State of NJ. Therapist will be responsible for meeting and working with children ages 3-25 and families in sessions, as well as running groups. Therapist should have experience implementation of Cognitive-behavioral strategies as well as hold an openness to integrative approaches to therapy. Past experience working with young children is required. Therapist must be a dedicated, loving and passionate person, committed to helping families struggling with children who suffer from anxiety, behavior struggles, focus issues. Therapist will have opportunity to build Wednesday and Thursdays after school (3:30-8) with weekend hours as an option. Behaved Brain is a small, team-based practice, so must be able to get along well with others, be willing and open to feedback, participate in meetings, marketing events and continuing education. Payment is determined based on experience. Since children are benefitting from in person visits, we are asking that applicant be willing to work with children in person, however administrative work, meetings and some client sessions can be done vitually/remotely.
