IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Provides full cycle service and responsiveness to and for District customers, the general public and government agencies in response to phone and e-mail inquires and complaints due to storm water and wastewater infrastructure performance, sewer billing, meter readings, charges, ability to pay and other related issues. Provides accurate and updated information to ensure customer issues are addressed in an expeditious and complete manner.
- Confidentially handle customer data and manage accounts.
- Attend District Outreach Events and act as an ambassador for the company
- Communicate over the phone, via email, and in person with customers
- Resolve customer complaints, collaborate with others to solve problems.
- Respond to billing inquiries and follow up with customers
- Create new accounts, end existing accounts
- Occasional travel to deliver payments and bills to various cities and billing agents.
TO QUALIFY
- HSD or GED
- 2+ years Customer Service in an office setting, dealing with clients and customers. Billing and account management is a plus.
- Acceptable driving record
- Computer savvy, proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Strong data entry skills.
- Strong communication, able to interact with anyone including executives, administration staff, and customers.
- Great phone voice and email grammar - able to communicate effectively
- Ability to jump in with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
