We are looking for a part time organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks such as:

  • Daily processing of business transactions such as accounts payable and receivables, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts
  • Process Credit Applications
  • Enter monthly job accruals
  • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance requests
  • Front Desk Support – daily lunch backup
  • Processing of month end transactions
  • Assist with compliance entry for vendors
  • Gather monthly hotel portfolios
  • Perform clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail as well as uploading and batching invoices
  • Support all accounting staff with filing and special projects as needed
  • Bookkeeping and general accounting
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Operating data terminals calculators and other standard office equipment

  • Required Skills / Abilities:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail
    • Daily tasks completed with high percentage of accuracy

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping

This position will be part time at 30 hours a week
