Construction Accountant

Atlanta-based Construction General Contractor is searching for an experienced construction accountant.  This is a full-time position, with a hybrid office/remote work schedule.  This General Contractor specializes in restaurant remodeling and kitchen equipment installations throughout the Southeast. 

Responsibilities include:

·         Prepare payroll

·         Perform AP and AR functions.

·         Perform journal entries, cash transactions, and preparing monthly financial packages

·         Performing bank reconciliations and other GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis.

·         Prepare construction loan requests

·         Assist with draw requests
 

Requirements:

·         You must have at least 3 years' accounting experience with a General Contractor or subcontractor in a general accounting role.

·         A 4-year accounting degree or a business degree with at least 5 years’ experience performing commercial construction accounting is acceptable as well. 

·         Hybrid Schedule - Work in the Morrow, GA office 2-3 days a week, and remotely on the other days

 

Compensation:

·         $70K-$90K depending on experience.

·         Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K
