RPA provides investment consulting and advisory services to employer-sponsored retirement plans and participants. We also having a growing wealth management practice. With more than $7 billion in assets under advisement, we serve over 550 plan sponsors and 88,000+ participants.

Job Description:

Work with a small, dynamic team to onboard and maintain RPA-serviced employer-sponsored retirement plans, including plan setup, updates, investment menus, and managed accounts. This position reports to the VP of Operations.

 

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of business processes and data systems. This person must be organized, flexible, and enjoy working in a small office environment, including the challenges such an environment brings (e.g., working to maximize efficiencies and cost-effectiveness).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

· Coordinate trading and quality control with RPA’s Investment Committee

· Execute all types of trades, including but not limited to mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, equities, and UITs

· Review reports for transactions requiring trade actions

· Maintain records of trades and model portfolio updates

· Monitor accounts for alignment with assigned model, error corrections, etc.

· Set up and maintain accounts, including record retention

· Provide customer service related to trading and supply information as needed at request of management, company associates, and financial professionals; track open issues and follow up consistently to ensure issues are resolved

· Cross-train with other department responsibilities as identified by management

· Work with the VP of Operations and other staff in supporting related functions, including other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to take to direction and work independently, able to balance multiple priorities and deadlines, and comfortable in an unstructured work environment.

 

Key skills and qualifications include:

· Two or more years of related work experience.

· College degree preferred but not required.

· Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 license preferred but not required.

· Solid Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly in Excel. Comfortable with web-based software platforms. Salesforce experience preferred but not required.

· VERY detail oriented.

· Ability to accurately follow verbal and written communications.

· Ability to communicate effectively with advisors and associates in a professional and courteous manner, expressing ideas clearly both in written and oral communications.

· Read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and industry regulations.

· Ability to identify potential issues and propose solutions.

Compensation: Competitive salary + bonus structure. Salary range $40k-$50k commensurate with experience.
