-Mechanical Specialist for Systems Phone Support based in New Columbia, PA.
This role is in
-office Monday through Friday, 8am
- 5pm.

Key :

- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers and field service technicians to provide technical product information, guidance, and assistance.

- Service Orders: Manage orders for installation, service changes, and discontinuance, including creating work orders, determining service charges, identifying needed service components, and collecting deposits.

- Technical Support: Handle both technical service calls and parts orders from customers and field service personnel, ensuring effective resolution of issues.

- Sales and Upgrades: Promote the sale of new or additional services, including retrofits and upgrades to existing equipment.

- Complaint Resolution: Address complaints concerning service billing and refer service failures to the appropriate departments for investigation.

- On
-Site Visits: Visit customers" locations to investigate issues preventing service completion and manage contracts and deposits for unauthorized service usage.

- Problem Solving: Collaborate with field service engineers and internal personnel to determine root causes and solutions to remote equipment problems.

Key Qualifications:

- Education and Experience: A trade school or two
-year technical degree is preferred, along with strong electrical experience or training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, PLC controls, three
-phase power, and AC/DC circuitry. HVAC experience or understanding of the refrigeration cycle and components is desired.

- Computer Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Office, email, and Google Suite. Familiarity with BPCS manufacturing (AS400) software is a plus.

- Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence and effective public speaking.

- Mathematical Skills: Capability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

- Reasoning Ability: Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with various concrete variables where limited standardization exists.

- Certifications: Electrical certificates and Refrigeration license are desirable but not mandatory.
