Shipping and Receiving Position

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and efficient Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our manufacturing factory warehouse team. This fast-paced role requires expertise in logistics, including forklift operation, creating Bills of Lading (BOLs), and overseeing all activities on the dock related to shipping and receiving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all shipping and receiving activities in the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments efficiently and safely.
• Create accurate and detailed Bills of Lading (BOLs) for all outgoing shipments.
• Schedule trucks for shipments and coordinate with 3rd party logistics providers.
• Use the company’s ERP system to log shipping and receiving information.
• Determine shipping pricing and apply appropriate markups.
• Create shipping labels and ensure proper inventory control.
• Monitor and manage the inventory of shipping supplies and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely logistics operations.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed to support overall operations.
