Construction Superintendent

As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mostly retail remodels with a few construction projects from start to finish. Your duties will include:
- Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on-site
- Ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Managing and maintaining project budgets
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Providing progress reports to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or questions

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using construction software such as ProCore and Bluebeam
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Excellent budgeting and cost management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team of workers
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols on-site
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders
