Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and other equipment to safely and efficiently move materials within our Lumberyard facility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Operate forklifts
- Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse
- Stack and organize products in the appropriate storage locations
- Perform equipment inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate products
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Experience: ( minimum 2 yr forklift experience )
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
