The Role

Working as part of a bespoke capital raising team, the main focus is to network and grow  investor relationships and increase investment inflow through direct investor relationships and intermediary channels. Working with high networth individuals, you'll also have licence to give wider financial advice to key investors. Reporting to the COO, this role has leadership potential to grow a Wealth Advisory team around you.

About You

You'll have a confident relationship style, with a strong business development focus and ideally a passion/interest to develop investor relationships across commercial property/real estate, plus a highly polished approach, given it's a  bespoke but professional environment. You'll ideally have L5 investment qualification, with at least 5 years working across wealth advisory, investment capital raising, investor relations, or property funds management.

The role will suit someone who wants autonomy and variety working in a small team and to diversify their existing investment or property related background.  The position offers an excellent base salary underwriter, over a generous time period, with room to smooth to a lucrative commission structure. There is room for leadership career development as the firm is focussed on growing it's wealth advisory team. 

Responsibilities

  • Performing rigorous, bottom-up research on listed companies and industries.
  • Speaking to and/or meeting with senior management teams of the companies under research.
  • Recommending companies for addition/removal from the portfolio and debating these recommendations with the rest of the team.
  • Monitoring and analysing existing portfolio positions.
  • Liasing with clients of the fund.
  • Fund administration activities.

Requirements

  • Track record of strong academic achievement.
  • At least 5 years’ professional work experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in investing.
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
