Gordon Management seeks a candidate looking to train into a career as maintenance professional to assist with property maintenance needs. This position will encompass several small properties to complete all work orders and turns.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Respond to work orders from residents: assess issues and make needed repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
Complete apartment turnovers with efficiency and attention to detail.
Maintain apartment interiors to specified standards and schedules.
Maintain property exteriors and grounds.
Maintain a positive customer service attitude and professional communications.
On-Call Rotation
Other duties as assigned.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of tools.
Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. without the assistance of tools or devices.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must have a valid, clean drivers license.
Ability to operate and maintain a company vehicle.
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities.
Maintain professionalism while in contact with residents and employees.
Communicate and react with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers and supervisors.
Ability to use a smart phone and software apps.
Drug and background check required.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SKILLS:
Entry Level Acceptable and Skills will be Developed.


Basic appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting/patching, and carpentry skills.
Knowledge of tools and machinery and how to properly maintain and operate them, as safety is a priority.
