Shifts: 3/12 Days or 3/12 Nights (shift differentials)

Requirements:

• Completion of a two or four-year Respiratory Care Program (CoARC accreditation preferred).
• Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Minnesota or eligibility for a temporary RT permit.
• Possession of a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card (acquirable upon employment).
• Mandatory Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 180 days of hire.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients and devising personalized respiratory care plans.
• Administering various treatments and therapies, including aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans as needed.
• Educating patients and their families on respiratory health management.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
