High Lantern Group (www.highlanterngroup.com) is increasing its capabilities to meet growing client demand by adding a Project Management Independent Contractor. We are looking for high performers who are results-driven and execution-focused. The position will be based out of the Philadelphia office location, 24 hours/week.


This is an opportunity to work with a highly successful strategic consulting firm experiencing rapid growth. The successful candidate will be supporting the successful implementation of client projects while ensuring projects are effectively planned and well-organized.

 

Responsibilities:


Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing project plans, documentations, and timelines.
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and updating trackers.

Administrative Support:

  • Utilize administrative skills to maintain project documentation, files, and records.
  • Manage communication channels within project teams and stakeholders.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of project milestones.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on relevant topics to support project objectives.
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations to project managers.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations as needed.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders to foster collaboration and support project objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Motivated self-starters with both relevant experience and interest in healthcare and/or public health, advocacy, communications, business, and/or public policy.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrator, and/or Paralegal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
