Job Description: Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist who will safeguard our organization's computer systems and networks, ensuring that all data stored and transmitted is protected from unauthorized access and potential breaches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, system administration, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective cybersecurity policies and protocols to protect company assets.
  • Monitor cybersecurity budgets and ensure the efficient allocation of resources.
  • Identify and manage financial risks associated with potential cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Monitor and secure networks and systems from unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction.

  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats and countermeasures.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in cybersecurity.

Technologies to be Used:

· Firewalls

· Anti-virus software

· Operating systems (Linux, Windows Server)

· Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure)

· Programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript)

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.

· Additional certifications in network and system administration are highly desirable.

Knowledge:

· In-depth understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and threat management.

· Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.

Skills:

· Proficient in using security tools and software.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Expertise in risk assessments, security audits, and incident response handling.
