Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Gooseneck Driver to operate between our three locations within a 15-mile radius. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safe driving practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team and contribute to the smooth operation of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a gooseneck truck between our three locations within a 20-mile radius.
- Transport goods and materials between sites in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe delivery of cargo.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience driving gooseneck trucks or similar vehicles.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to commercial driving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
