Let It Grow, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time skilled carpenter who has experience in commercial and/or residential construction. This role will help to support our construction division. We prefer highly qualified, motivated candidates who will work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing carpentry responsibilities with assistance from the Superintendent and the Project Manager.

The Minimum Requirements for a Carpenter position are below:

Minimum Requirements For Carpenter:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction and or landscaping
• OSHA 30 is highly preferred
• 40 HR SST is highly preferred
• Must speak and understand English
• Having a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• A personal vehicle is a MAJOR plus to get to the facility/job site
• We WILL hire skilled labor without a driver's license, but they must be legal to work in the USA
• Must have a social security number and card

Duties And Responsibility:

• Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
• Fits and installs window frames, door frames, door hardware, and interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
• Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine the dimensions and materials required.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
• Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
• Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace them using hand tools.
• Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
• Moves necessary materials around the job site as assigned.
• Cleans up worksite debris.
