We are a well established and busy physical therapist-owned and operated orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation outpatient clinic. SMPT has been serving the Greater Sacramento area for over 40 years. We are extremely proud of our reputation and the vital role we play in our community. REQUIREMENTS OF THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST:

  • We welcome new grads as well as experienced PTA's
  • Appropriate degree from accredited PTA program
  • Current California PTA license
  • We use WebPT as our EMR (full training provided)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST INCLUDE:

  • Perform initial evaluations, create plan of care, communicate with relevant healthcare providers regarding plan of care
  • Perform timely progress reports and discharge summaries
  • Develop ethical and compassionate treatment plan
  • Progress patient plan of care throughout course of treatment
  • Support and delegate to PT Aide as appropriate to provide the best possible care.
