Massage Therapist

Blossom and Grow Wellness Center is a black-owned business in Columbia, MD. We offer wellness services to women, with an emphasis on those who are pregnant or postpartum. Our services include, individual therapy, group therapy, support groups, yoga and massages.

The perfect candidate will be well versed in perinatal massage and able to offer customized massages. We are looking for someone to provide massages a few hours a week, with some evening availability. As we grow, your hours will grow as well.

This position is perfect for someone who is just looking to supplement their income.

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients
- Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, prenatal and postnatal massage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide self-care recommendations
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to assess clients' conditions and customize treatment plans accordingly
- Proficient in various massage techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal and postnatal massage
- Strong time management skills to ensure punctuality for appointments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
