Extruder Technician

• Startup / Shutdown / Troubleshoot PVC extrusion lines.

• Provide suggestions to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products to increase productivity and reducing waste.

• Clean / polish extrusion dies to prpare for running. Maintain housekeeping at a high level in Extrusion area.

• Initiate, recommend, investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to products, processes and quality systems.

• Work closely with the Maintenance personnel to ensure equipment maintenance is scheduled at the most opportune times, to minimize downtime and maximize production output.

• Suggest improvements to work procedures to meet production requirements by utilizing personnel and resources in the best possible ways. Analyze work problems and work with staff in solving them.

• Interpret and enforce company policies, safety regulations and operating procedures to develop, support, and motivate production employees in applying company policies & values.

• Take responsibility for the productivity, safety and cleanliness of the plant during your shift.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
