A long time Milwaukee manufacturer is looking for someone in shipping and receiving for 1st shift (8:00am-5:00pm) Monday-Friday located near Brookfield, WI. This is a good way to get your foot in the door as there are many growth opportunities within this organization.

 

A qualified candidate will be possess these requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of related experience
• Reliable Attendance
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to drive a forklift (both sitdown & standup)
• Computer skills
• UPS/FedEx parcel shipping experience is a plus
• Having a knowledge of cycle-counting is a plus
• Receiving experience is a plus


A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Verify quantity of items received and cross-reference with packing lists
• Identify receiving or shipping documents of any shortages or damaged parts
• Stock materials into proper locations in the warehouse
• Accurately perform material transactions
• Pick materials from stock locations to prep for parcel shipments
• Safely operate forklifts (both sitdown & standup) to move materials in warehouse
• Load/unload trucks when needed
• Package finished product for parcel shipping (shrink-wrap, foam, box, label)
• Recycle waste
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Other duties as assigned
