Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Home Care to become a part of our team You will coordinate and supervise home care services for residents of Ingleside Retirement Apartments, Ingleside Assisted Living and community clients throughout New Castle County.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee home care staff and coordinate scheduling, billing and performance expectations
  • Assist with recruiting process including interviewing home care aides and C.N.A.'s
  • Develop strategies for retention and recognition of staff and community partnership opportunities
  • Plan and coordinate health services for in-house and community clients, including visiting clients, care plans and troubleshooting any care issues
  • Work collaboratively with department director to ensure that client needs are being met
  • Ensure that all state regulations are being followed
  • Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare, preferably in senior living and/or home health
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • C.N.A. licensure preferred
  • Experience with home care scheduling software (AxisCare or ClearCare) preferred
  • Must pass all state-required drug and background checking and be Covid vaccinated
