Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Plattsburgh, NY.

Seeking an energetic RT to come join our team today. We have exciting, Great Paying opportunities across the U.S. This is a travel contract with local candidates able to apply with a local compensation package.

13 – 16 week contracts 36 hr week; Night shift

Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care treatments, procedures, and protocols under the direct supervision of department leadership and physician. Provides for patient assessment to determine cardiopulmonary status, implement appropriate patient care protocols, or to maintain/improve cardiopulmonary hemodynamic status. Initiates and maintains emergent and non-emergent non-invasive ventilation and invasive mechanical ventilation per department policies and protocols. Coverage of nursery, ED is a part of this assignment

Graduate of an approved and accredited Respiratory Care Program

2-3 year RT experience in acute hospital setting

experience with pediatric population required

EPIC experience from within the past 12 months is required

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by The National Board for Respiratory Care

RRT license by the state of VT

BLS (AHS)

ACLS (AHA)

NRP preferred

Proof of right to work in the United States

English
