Responsibilities:

1.Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple single-family new construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project progress.

2. Resource Management:

  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets to optimize resource utilization and mitigate potential delays or cost overruns.

3, Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deviations from project specifications.

4. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as securing permits and insurance coverage.
  • Proactively address issues that may arise during construction to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.

 

5. Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration among team members to optimize project performance.

 

6. Compliance:

 

  • Stay informed about updated Florida building codes and regulations, as well as local ordinances in Jacksonville and neighboring cities.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience in building single-family new construction homes.
  • Prefer Proven track record of project managing multiple new construction projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with updated Florida building codes and regulations, as well as the city of Jacksonville and neighboring cities.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses may be advantageous.

Summary: This position requires a highly motivated individual capable of overseeing multiple construction projects with a strong understanding of local building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Also a strong willingness to be trained.
