Responsibilities:

  • Participates and contributes to any team process improvement program.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct and lead Operators/Manual Production staff
  • Payroll, scheduling employees
  • Manage workflow
  • Follow instructions from Operations Manager
  • Balancing all jobs
  • Provide direction and supervision to all Manual Production, and Warehouse staff·
  • General up keep of operator area
  • Package products (produce, beverages, and different types of foods) per customer specifications.
  • Assemble, line and pad cartons and containers per customer specifications.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Load and remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas.
  • Seal containers or bags.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Understand and follow information and instruction presented through spoken words and sentences by line leader, supervisor or manager.
  • Work in various positions at the required speed of service and with the desired sense of urgency.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience of leadership / management experience
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
  • Work in a temperature controlled environment of approximately 35 ̊F.
  • Must be able to work as a team/with others

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm

Overtime is required, must be flexible to work the schedule provided.
