Position Overview:

As a Quality Control Employee in our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect machined parts at various stages of the production process to identify defects, deviations from specifications. You will collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and management to uphold quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Control and Inspection:
    • Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify deviations and defects.
  2. Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities and inspection results.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Certification in Quality (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and manufacturing processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present complex information clearly.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, influencing and driving quality initiatives across the organization.
