Job Title: Senior IT Technician - Dental IT Services

Location: Cypress, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $22-$30/h

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to dental practice management software, digital imaging, and hardware systems.
  • Provide high-level technical support, advice, and assistance to our dental clients, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with junior helpdesk technicians and other team members to escalate issues, share knowledge, and deliver comprehensive IT solutions.
  • Implement and manage network configurations, system updates, and security protocols to safeguard client data.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance and support clients with upgrades and migrations, ensuring seamless transitions and continuous improvement.
  • Document all technical procedures and client interactions to maintain a high standard of service and support.
  • Tailor communications to meet the needs of non-technical clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Document procedures and ensure accurate ticket entries into our ticketing software, Pulseway PSA.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support with a strong background in handling complex technical issues. Experience in the dental industry is highly preferred.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to think on your feet and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in dental technology, including but not limited to practice management software, imaging software, and digital x-ray equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proven track record of building relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Relevant technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
  • Willingness to undertake secondary tasks such as low voltage data cabling and computer/network rack installs.
  • Reliable transportation to the office. Must be able to drive company vehicles when going to client locations.
