Elevation Health Services is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Leadership Executive that has a passion for providing the highest quality care despite any barriers while creating partnerships with providers to create long term success for clients.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Engages individuals and families in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of stage of readiness and phase of treatment.
  • Assigns and supervises the caseload of direct reports staff. Assists staff as required to manage caseload efficiently.
  • Reviews cases to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services rendered. Conducts staff meetings to review strengths, outcomes, problem areas and plan solutions.
  • Assists staff in improving and updating professional skills by providing them with information such as pertinent conferences and seminars, new techniques in the field and current and pending legislation affecting mental health services. Orients, trains, and develops new staff.
  • Monitors case records, including signatures, and follow up and referral of individuals to community agencies to aid in an accurate history. Ensures that paperwork is maintained in accordance with Medicaid & DCH, & EHS guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify stage of change and use interventions consistent with stage of treatment. Assist staff in developing strength-based, stage wise treatment matched person-centered plans that are designed to address identified individual needs. Able to provide resources for integrated treatment including self-help and peer support.
  • Model and use the Spirit of Motivational Interviewing in all interactions with staff, individuals and stakeholders.
  • Provides outcome and strength-based supervision to staff utilizing a range of supervision techniques to foster professional development and performance, develop skill sets and increase individual outcomes. Conduct clinical case reviews that are competency based, strength based, culturally relevant and focus on improving client outcomes. (i.e. utilize motivational interviewing with staff-direct, follow, and guide approach).
  • Familiar with a variety of outcome measures for psychiatric and co-occurring substance use, medical or other disorders. Able to utilize outcome measurements in supervision and with person centered planning.
  • Provide support, education, and reinforce the use of prescribed medications to treat substance use and mental health disorders.
  • May also be responsible for the coordination of specific programs and projects as assigned.
  • Instructs, assigns, schedules, checks and appraises performance. Hires, recommends disciplinary action and discharge, and recommends pay increases and/or promotions.
  • Responsible for authorizing medically necessary services for all consumers.
  • Monitors Staff’s caseload to ensure implementation of approved EBP.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of principles of trauma informed care.
  • Willingness to support and assist consumers with trauma related issues.
  • Provides supervision in accordance with the Individual and Clinical Supervisory Guidelines for the position.
  • Completes monthly chart audits in accordance with KPI standards.
  • Full compliance with developing and monitoring PIP’s in accordance with the Supervision Policy.
  • Monthly supervision/coaching requirements met for all staff assigned as defined by Supervision Guidelines.
  • Full compliance in completing annual evaluations on or prior to staff anniversary date.
  • Performs all job duties and completes paperwork in accordance with Medicaid Verification requirements and guidelines

All other duties as assigned by the Program Manager that contributes to the advancement of EHS s as a premier provider of services for people. Performs job duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable Safety and Health policies and procedures. All other duties that are general in nature and are related to the scope and practice for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Psychology;
  • Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work; OR
  • Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling; AND have a license as a professional or independent counselor (LISAC) (LCSW) (LPC ) from the State of Arizona; AND
  • Must meet qualifications of a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per the Arizona Provider Qualifications per Medicaid Services.
  • The following must be met for those working with the SUDConsumers:
  • Be a licensed clinical supervisor; OR
  • Have a current registered development plan to obtain the supervisory credential when providing substance abuse treatment services to beneficiaries
  • Have had at least three (3) years of full-time casework experience including 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle operator or chauffeur's license.
  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorder (mental health and substance abuse); stages of change (transtheoretical model); phases of recovery and motivational interviewing/enhancement therapy.
  • Knowledgeable with criteria for dual diagnosis capability for substance use and mental health programs.
  • Experience working with the criminal justice system preferred (Collaborative Solutions only).
  • Must be able to read and write fluent English and Spanish (Centro Latino only
