Life Science / Filtration Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Life Science manager responsible for providing Banner Industries customers with the appropriate level of technical and business support to ensure the transfer of knowledge of all product lines and services we sell in the Life Science/ Filtration industries. Life Science/Filtration consists of Pharmaceuticals, all Bio-Technologies, Medical, Nutraceuticals, Food & Beverage, and Environmental. The individual will identify and assist in the development of strategic relationships with Banner Industries’ partners and customers. They will work with Banner Industries sales to support new customers and accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. The position provides technical and commercial information on all the Life Science/Filtration product lines and industries to the Banner Industries sales force.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities with regional office, inside and outside sales, administrative personnel, and business partners in achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives. The individual will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies towards improvement of the life science product lines to penetrate into the market with long and short-term profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help support sales to achieve sales strategies goals within targeted accounts and territories throughout the US.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute strategies to capture new business in the Life Science industry.
  • Work with sales managers on overall sales strategy, support programs, and other marketing and sales activities related to major accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Support sales on product evaluations at OEM’s and End-user accounts.
  • Be a liaison between product partners and sales for Life Science product lines
  • Develop goals and plans for the Life Science product lines.
  • Manage and participate in appropriate events to enhance company market presence.
  • Support technical visits to customers to conduct informative presentations on products and services.
  • Develop training programs for our sales and support teams for:
    • New product training
    • Technical updates
    • Sales and marketing collateral

Specialized Knowledge, Expertise, and/or Abilities Consistently Required

o Strong knowledge of Life Science industries and related customers.

o Degree level education and a minimum of 3 years of sales/marketing experience in the Life Science and/or semiconductor process industry or related area.

o Strong written, oral, and presentation skills required.

o Proven ability to conceive and implement account plans and achieve the goals set out by them.

o Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining poise under pressure.

Will be required to travel as needed for trade shows, sales training, product education and company, customer and partner meetings.
