Objective
The Client Relations Specialist oversees daily operations as assigned by the Agency Owner. Duties include managing and coordinating efficient office operations by implementing repeatable and predictable processes and systems.

Office Operations
Manages office operations and related reporting
Schedules appointments with existing or prospective customers
Performs daily administrative functions to assist the Agency Owner
Consults regularly with agency owner to review the goals of the agency
Maintains office supply and equipment inventory levels

Customer Service
Provides personalized, professional customer service experiences through building trust and developing strong customer relationships
Responds to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims, or products by following established agency processes and procedures
Drives customer satisfaction by following the American Star best practices: Personal Insurance Review, rate revision notification and claims process
Processes changes to existing accounts and policies
Serves as a liaison on behalf of the customer between the agency and various business partners
Assists customers with claims by directing them to the appropriate Claims Department contacts and resources. Follows up to ensure customer needs are addressed during restoration.

Insurance Processes
Participates in reviews of existing coverages and may advise customers regarding policy options
Estimates and quotes policy premiums complying with underwriting guidelines
Identifies cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions and takes appropriate action
Contacts appropriate business partners for guidance when needed

Education/Licenses/Designations
Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products. This position must have both qualifying line of authority: Property; Casualty; and Life.
Valid drivers license required

Role Requirements
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated experience in leadership and/or management
Demonstrated experience working independently: planning, setting priorities and organizing work
Demonstrated sales and customer service experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with PC software applications such as Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer
Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers

Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Experience office management experience
Previous supervision experience
Knowledge of insurance concepts and principles
Basic knowledge of effective multi-line insurance prospecting and sales experience
Insurance designations (LUTCF, FSCP, CHFC, CLU, CIC, or CPCU)
Working Conditions

Non-typical schedules (evenings or weekends) may be necessary on occasion
General office setting

*Salary range is based on base plus bonus and commissions earned
