Nurse or CNA Needed for Private Home Care

Will be paid via Acumen as 1099 or W2. No private pay directly from family. Private family in Canton, GA seeking a CNA/Caregiver for special needs member. Family member is mid-20's woman with cerebral palsy who is very independent and needs little care outside of going to the bathroom, getting in and out of wheelchair, and getting out and putting her in bed. Must have CNA License and able to make the commute to Canton, GA. We're seeking someone to assist in the above and flexible on pay and hours. Electric or Manual Hoyer lift experience is required.
Pay: $23 -$27/hr based upon experience for Nurses. $17 - $22 based upon experience as CNA.
Will provide more information to applicants after apply on home address and virtual interview to meet family.
Can provide up to 40 hours a week using mix of the below. Minimum of 8 hours a week needed.
Availability needed during these hours but not needed during all days/hours below.
Schedule:
Monday 7am-10am. 4pm-8pm
Tuesday 7am-10am. 4pm-8pm
Wednesday 7am-10am. 4pm-8pm
Thursday 7am-10am. 4pm-8pm
Friday 7am-10am. 4pm-8pm
Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm. Can be split into a 6 hour shift
About the Position:
CNA/Caregivers perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
- Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting to bathroom, grooming, care of mouth, skin, nails and hair
- Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement, facilitating wellness activities, community involvement
- Perform homemaking activities including (but may not be limited to) dusting, vacuuming, sweeping or mopping floors, cleaning of common areas including kitchen and bathrooms, washing dishes, doing laundry, changing bed
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school or college diploma required
- Valid Georgia Driver's License
- Hoyer Lift trained
- 2+ years’ experience providing direct care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test on site
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
