EXCITING OPPORTUNITY - LEGAL ASSIST./PARALEGAL
HIRING ASAP. We want somebody full-time, and hopefully long term. We are a boutique law firm located in Encino, California, with a sophisticated practice. The firm's focus is aggressive, plaintiff litigation in the areas of class action, civil rights, and more. The areas of law are cutting-edge. Everybody in the firm is advancing their career because of the nature of the work. The firm atmosphere is smart and positive. We offer good pay, good benefits and a great place to work.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and calendaring litigation deadlines
- Communicating with attorneys and staff regarding case prosecution and management
- Draft pleadings/letters
- Communicate and interact with clients and staff attorneys
- Draft and respond to written discovery
Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with legal documents a plus
- Certified Paralegal preferred, but not required
Performance bonuses and promotion are offered.
