Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full- or part-time X-Ray Technician to join our team at Worksite Medical. The X-Ray Technician will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic imaging services to our patients, primarily focusing on occupational health-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.


Responsibilities:

  1. Perform X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
  2. Ensure the proper positioning of patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  3. Operate X-ray equipment and related machinery safely and efficiently.
  4. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and interpretations.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  8. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  9. Participate in quality assurance activities and performance improvement initiatives.
  10. Provide guidance and support to other healthcare team members as needed.
  11. Willing to learn Audiometric Testing, Qualitative and Quantitative Fit Testing, Drug Screens and EKG’s.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or X-Ray Technician (ARRT).
  2. Current state licensure or certification as required by regulations.
  3. Proven experience working as an X-Ray Technician in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational medicine or related field.
  4. Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  7. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
  9. Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation.
