Job Description:

The Leasing Professional’s primary focus is the leasing of apartments, maximizing occupancy, and ensuring the resident satisfaction of existing residents – candidates with customer service, sales, or administrative experience have been very successful in this role.  Working for our company will give you a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that help make a positive impact on our community. Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Customer Service & Sales

o   Respond promptly and professionally to resident or prospective tenant inquiries, providing relevant information and assistance. Inquiries are received via phone, email, our Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) and other methods.

o   Provide excellent customer service to tenants and prospective tenants.

o   Provide pre-leasing and lease activities.

o   Guide prospective tenants through the lease cycle from initial inquiries, tours (in person & virtually), lease signatures and administration, all the way through tenant move-in.

o   Ensure refreshments in the lobbies are replenished, organized and clean.

o   Maintain a positive attitude and team player mindset.

o   Field and handle resident inquiries.

o   Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends. Including shopping competitors.

o   Contributes ideas to management for marketing and resident satisfaction.

o   Performs corporate outreach marketing and networking.

·         Administration & Leasing Activities

o   Ensure move-in checklists and other tasks are complete.

o   Inspect models, lobby, offices, amenities, and all common areas surrounding leasing office and community and any vacancies/available apartments daily to ensure cleanliness. Picks up litter, straightens up, and enters work orders for deficiencies.

o   Review apartment applications, fulfill lease administration tasks and other property management responsibilities.

o   Assist with resident events.

o   Completes notice to vacates and move out documentations, follows up on move in inspections.

o   Assists with other resident notices.

o   Conducting all business in accordance with policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other Federal and State laws.

o   Other duties as assigned and required by the Community Manager, Regional Community Manager, or corporate office.

Professional Requirements:

·         3 + years of industry sales experience a plus but not required

·         Ability to work in a very collaborative, dynamic, and results-driven organization

·         We are willing to provide on-the-job training to the right candidate who has developable skills in marketing, business, retail, customer service, administration, or other related fields

Skills:

·         Verbal and written communication skills

·         Time management and ability to work independently

·         Personable, professionally persistent, and outgoing

·         Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, property management software
