Ranch Operations Manager

Job Description:

As a Ranch Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and
efficient operation of the ranch. This dynamic position encompasses a wide range of
responsibilities, from general maintenance/housekeeping and gardening to Executive Assistant
administrative tasks and assisting with cattle management. Your diverse skill set, and proactive
attitude will be essential in contributing to the success of the ranch.

Key Responsibilities:
General Ranch Maintenance:
Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of ranch facilities, including main residence, and common
areas.
Gardening and Landscaping:
Cultivate and maintain gardens, flowerbeds, and landscaped areas around the main residence .
Plant, weed, and water as needed to ensure a well-kept appearance.
Executive Assistant and Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, filing, and data entry.
Coordinate schedules, appointments, and ranch events as required.

Errand Running:
Handle various errands, such as purchasing supplies, equipment, or others.
Pick up and deliver items as needed to support ranch operations.
Cattle and Dog Assistance:
Provide support for cattle handling to the Ranch Manager who is responsible for feeding,
herding, and basic health checks of the cattle operation.
The ranch has two Golden Retrievers. You should like meeting and caring for dogs.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in ranch operations, gardening, or general maintenance is preferred.
A basic understanding of ranch life would be an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to perform tasks that may require lifting and outdoor work in varying
weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Working Conditions:
This position has work hours that vary depending on the needs
of the ranch operations. It will, at times, involve exposure to outdoor elements and physical
labor. You will also work as an Executive Assistant inside the home with an office environment.
