About the Role:

As the Apartment Maintenance Lead, you will be in charge of all maintenance activities to guarantee that our apartment buildings are comfortable and safe for everyone. Your responsibilities will include supervising maintenance technicians and promptly responding to resident requests. Your role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming environment throughout the buildings. Prior experience in apartment supervision is necessary, so please refrain from applying if you lack this skillset.

  • Inspiring Leadership: Lead and motivate our maintenance team to deliver excellence day in and day out.
  • Craftsmanship: Utilize your expertise in plumbing and various maintenance areas to maintain our properties to the highest standards.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Act as a resident happiness ambassador by promptly addressing maintenance needs and ensuring their delight.
  • Thorough Inspections: Identify and resolve maintenance concerns promptly to maintain our properties' pristine condition.
  • Efficient Supply Management: Keep our maintenance supplies stocked and organized to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Collaborative Approach: Coordinate effectively with external contractors for significant repairs, fostering a spirit of teamwork.
  • Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in multi-family maintenance, with a strong emphasis on plumbing skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing and inspiring a maintenance team to achieve outstanding outcomes is essential. A minimum of two years of experience in apartment maintenance is required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in various residential maintenance areas to tackle any challenge.
  • Customer Focus: Exceptional communication skills and a dedication to ensuring resident satisfaction.
  • Task Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Literacy: Basic computer skills and a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

  • Compensation: Competitive salary range of $60,000 to $62,000 annually (depending on experience).
  • Flexibility: Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend availability required.
  • Physical Demands: Some physical labor, including lifting and repetitive tasks, both indoors and outdoors.
