Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated General Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role demands a proactive attitude and a readiness to engage in various warehouse activities. Whether it’s operating a forklift, unloading shipments, or ensuring the warehouse remains spotless, our ideal candidate is someone who doesn’t shy away from diverse tasks and maintains a safety-first approach at all times.
Responsibilities:
Execute a range of warehouse activities including loading/unloading, picking/packing, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks after receiving appropriate training and certification provided by the company.
Adhere to safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment, always prioritizing accuracy over speed.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, including shared spaces and equipment.
Utilize scanners and computers to manage inventory and process orders effectively.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting, particularly with pick and pack operations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Basic computer skills; experience with scanners and warehouse management software is preferred.
Excellent punctuality, team collaboration skills, and a record of reliable attendance.
Forklift experience is advantageous; certification training provided on-site.
