Job Overview: We are excited to announce openings for the roles of Lead Preschool Teacher and Lead Afterschool Teacher. These positions are ideal for individuals who have a rich background in early childhood education, specifically with children aged 2-5 years for the Preschool Teacher and 6-12 years for the Afterschool Teacher. Candidates should have a profound understanding of child development principles and be skilled in utilizing assessment tools like DRDPs, ASQs, and ERECEs. Our Lead Preschool Teacher will significantly influence our young learners' educational paths, delivering exceptional care and instruction .
Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Enhancement: Craft and execute a curriculum that is both developmentally appropriate and in line with state guidelines, fostering the holistic growth of preschool-aged children.
Progress Monitoring: Employ tools such as DRDPs, ASQs, and ERECEs for effective monitoring of children's developmental progress, shaping instructional strategies.
Learning Environment Management: Establish and uphold a structured yet vibrant classroom setting that encourages exploration, participation, and creative expression.
Innovative Lesson Planning: Design lesson plans that are engaging and adaptable, incorporating varied teaching methodologies to accommodate different learners.
Personalized Teaching: Tailor teaching approaches to meet individual child needs, providing targeted support or challenges as required. Engagement with Parents: Maintain transparent and proactive communication with parents about their child's development, achievements, and areas needing attention.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work seamlessly with colleagues and support staff to deliver a unified and enriching educational experience for all children.
Safety First: Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment, strictly following safety protocols and emergency procedures. Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest in early childhood education through professional development initiatives.
Requirements:
AA or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Child Development Permit .State teaching certification tailored for preschool or early childhood education. Experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher in a licensed childcare or educational setting is highly preferred. Mastery of assessment tools like DRDPs, ASQs, and ERECEs. Excellent classroom and behavioral management skills. Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills .A deep-seated passion for early childhood education and commitment to children’s developmental success.
