Nortex Foundation Designs is looking for a Structural Engineer to bring a broad vision to our work and provide smart, innovative solutions to our Clients. Our reputation for managing complex projects means our teammates are expert problem solvers, creating lasting value. This role will focus on foundation design, framing, and wind bracing but may require other engineering oversight. 

 

Engineer Skills

 

• Advanced skills using company software

• Proven ability to communicate well in written and verbal communications

• Design thinking for product inventions and enhancements

• Motivation and commitment to providing interpersonal customer service

• Knowing and applying current industry standards and information

• Soft skills including a positive attitude, flexibility and conflict resolution

• The ability to solve problems creatively on time

• Having up-to-date knowledge and technical skills

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Structural Engineering

• Experience with site inspections

• Experience in the design of post-tensioned and conventionally reinforced concrete, structural steel, wood framing, and exposure to forensic engineering.
