About the Role
As our Inside Sales Representative, you'll be the heartbeat of our customer interactions, bridging the gap between our clients, inventory, production team, and office personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with clients through calls and in-person meetings to gather detailed project information, considering their needs and geographical factors.
- Crafting precise estimates and bids for a variety of projects using our diverse range of metal products.
- Writing and processing customer orders, making adjustments as needed to meet client specifications.
- Providing clear, step-by-step instructions to customers for the installation of our materials.
- Educating clients on our extensive product offerings and their optimal applications.
- Developing and following up on job estimates for contractors, architects, and homeowners.
- Skillfully troubleshooting and resolving issues and complaints, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- Over 3 years of experience in full-scope construction, particularly in roofing and siding, or 2+ years in architecture.
- Strong ability to read and comprehend construction documents and blueprints.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Superior customer service acumen.
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Keen decision-making abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while prioritizing projects.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative without direct supervision.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience in sales, drawing, and estimating is a bonus.
Store Operational Hours
This role operates during regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts and seasonal overtime as needed.
